Rules & Format:

  1. This event will be certified by GSA-USBC.
  2. All prizes, proceeds will be awarded via Scholarship to the Youth Athlete UNLESS SPECIFICALLY indicated otherwise. There will be brackets available for adults.
  3. This tournament is open to (1) Adults with ‘26-’27 USBC membership and (2) ‘26-’27 USBC Registered Youth Bowlers age 21 and younger as of August 1, 2026. If the Youth Bowler either participates in an adult USBC sanctioned league or if the youth bowler is a P.B.A. then the bowler MUST particpate as an ADULT only.
  4. Bowlers will enter with their most recent verifiable standard composite average, if the bowler has no composite average, we will use the highest of their 2025-2026 verifiable average of 18+ games or more. If the bowler only carries a sport/challenge average, we will adjust the average to a house average. If no averages in 2025-2026, we will use a current average with at least twelve games from the current 2026-2027 season for ALL bowlers. If bowler has no averages whatsoever, the bowler’s average will be set at 230. For those participating in 379 and under division; Handicap will be 85% of 230.
  5. All bowlers may be rerated or adjusted at the discretion of the tournament directors. If you have been rerated in the last 12 months, please provide the average that you had to use.
  6. This tournament will have two divisions: Division 1 – 380 and above, scratch division; Division 2 – 379 and below, handicap division.
  7. Each “DOUBLES TEAM” will consist of one adult and one youth bowler. Bowlers who enter with the incorrect average may be subject to forfeiture of scholarships earned at such tournaments.
  8. All bowlers will bowl 4 games of qualifying, moving lanes after each game (the amount of pairs skipped will be displayed for participants when they arrive.) Top teams in each division will enter a BAKER style bracketed final round. Number of qualifying teams is based on teams in each division, up to a maximum of (8) per division. Typically (1) spot per (5) teams (i.e. 22 teams in 380+ division equals 4 finals participants.) *NOTE: this is determined formally closer to tournament and solely up to the discretion of the tournament directors. Other prizes WILL be awarded outside of the qualifying and playoffs. All Finals brackets, place, and payouts will be displayed for all bowlers when they arrive.
  9. Each “round” of the playoffs bowlers will particpate in BAKER style team bowling. Each round will be a “Best 2 out of 3” match. Playoff matches will feature the adult bowling first in games #1/#3 and the youth bowling first in game #2. Scholarships will only be guaranteed to those advancing to the BAKERS round, depending on participation additional scholarships may be awarded.

  11. Pre-pay your spot via registration link on first page or register online and pay cash on day of tournament. Tournament fee is $95.00 per team. IF YOU HAVE NOT PURCHASED CURRENT USBC MEMBERSHIP, YOU MUST DO SO PRIOR TO BOWLING.
  12. We encourage respectful wearing of costumes, proper attire is encouraged!
  13. USBC Rules will govern any aspect of tournament played that is not addressed above.

GSA Summer Jubilee Singles

RESULTS FROM JULY 19, 2026

The 2026 GSA Summer Jubilee Singles was held July 19 at Bowlero North Sacramento.  57 bowlers competed in three divisions.  Scholarship funds totaling $4,125 were awarded to the bowlers.  Congratulations to our division winners: Sutter Sieglitz, Caleb Travis and Keira Poindexter-Diaz.  Thank you for the great turnout.  We will see you at the next tournament.
